The Sound Of.....Silence

So I'm still reading this book by Bill Hybels on "The Power of A Whisper....Hearing God and Having The Guts To Respond."  Every chapter is a WOW moment....EVERY SINGLE ONE!  Today's post is rather short but very good....here's a little of what Pastor Hybels has to say in Chapter Four:

Time and again, the Scriptures tell us to be still.  "Be still, and know that I am God..."   Psalm 46:10 encourages.  Reduce your speed.  Stop multitasking.  Lower the ambient noise of your life- and then listen for God to speak.  There is a God who loves you and who would gladly whisper to you...if only you would carve out the space to hear from heaven throughout the course of your day.
